When elevator cable is arranged in a star-shaped twisted configuration:

Free hanging length greater than 80 meters;
Operating speed between 4 meters/second and 10 meters/second; consideration should be given to adding load-bearing elements in the cable, usually galvanized flexible steel wire rope.
