A cable is typically a rope-like assembly of several conductors or groups of conductors (at least two per group), twisted together. Each group of conductors is insulated from each other, often twisted around a central core, and the entire assembly is covered with a highly insulating outer layer. (1) Series cables between components.
(2) Parallel cables between strings and from strings to the DC distribution box (combiner box).
(3) Cables between the DC distribution box and the inverter.
All of the above cables are DC cables, mostly used for outdoor installations. They need to be moisture-proof, sun-proof, cold-resistant, heat-resistant, and UV-resistant. In some special environments, they also need to be resistant to acids, alkalis, and other chemicals.
2. AC Cables
(1) Connecting cable between the inverter and the step-up transformer.
(2) Connecting cable between the step-up transformer and the switchgear.
(3) Connecting cable between the switchgear and the grid or user.
This part of the cable is an AC load cable, mostly used for indoor installations, and can be selected according to the general requirements for power cable selection.
