Insulation Layer: HDPE polyethylene
Color: Color coded, in accordance with DIN47100 standard
Inner Layer: PP tape or aluminum foil Mylar wrapped shielding layer
Braided Layer: Bare copper or tinned copper wire braided shielding layer
Jacket: Mixed flexible PVC

Within one bus segment, different transmission rates and maximum transmission distances correspond as follows:
• 9.6 - 93.75 kbit/s = 1200 meters
• 187.5 kbit/s = maximum 1000 meters
• 500 kbit/s = maximum 400 meters
